Privacy statement

We take great care in the protection of your privacy and the personal information you provide to us. With this privacy statement we inform you about the way we use and protect your personal information. We advise you to read this statement carefully.

What data do we collect and why?

We collect personal data when it’s necessary to provide our services or make your experience better. Sometimes you give us this data yourself—like when you sign up for our newsletter. Other times, we need it to fulfill an agreement (such as giving you access to a course) or because it helps us improve what we do.

When you sign up for a course, we ask for some personal details. This lets us personalize your learning experience, create certificates with your name on them, and ensure you can access the right courses. We might ask for your name, email address, date of birth (so we know you’re of legal age), salutation, and the sector or role in which you work. You can also choose to share your organization and accreditation number, for example if the course gives you accreditation points. We’ll also record your language preference to send you information in the right language.

If you're an account administrator, we’ll also ask for your phone number (for direct contact) and billing address (for administrative purposes).

Data collected by third parties

To offer and improve our services, we work with a few trusted partners who help us with communication, research, and analytics. These companies process data on our behalf and according to our instructions.

Surveymonkey

After completing an e-learning course, you'll receive a feedback survey by email. This survey is created in Surveymonkey. Read more about Surveymonkey's privacy policy: https://www.surveymonkey.com/mp/policy/privacy-policy/#respondents

Mailchimp

We use Mailchimp to send out the digital Augeo Magazine and our Augeo Newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of these emails. Augeo has a data processing agreement with Mailchimp. Find out more here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/

Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use our website. The data we collect (such as click behavior and page visits) is anonymized. IP addresses are masked, and we have a data processing agreement with Google. Some data may be transferred to the United States, where Google complies with the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Google Tag Manager helps us manage scripts like Analytics. This tool doesn’t place cookies or collect personal data itself.

LinkedIn Insight Tag

This tag helps us see which LinkedIn ads drive website visits or conversions—without revealing any personal information about individual users. You can find LinkedIn's privacy policy here: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Data retention

We keep your personal data only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, unless a longer period is required by law. After that, we delete or anonymize the data.

Please note: If we delete your data, you’ll no longer be able to use your courses or download your certificates.

Security

We take strong technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access.
